Take One Minute and Improve Your Mood - Wellbeing Wisdom Tiny Bites Podcast

Is your day off to a rough start? Has everything that could go wrong seem to have gone wrong? Are you willing to spend one minute refocusing so you can feel better?

When you’re focused on what’s gone wrong, you continue to notice things that go wrong. When you give yourself one minute to refocus, you can more easily notice what’s going right.

For one minute, take long, slow, deep breaths and think about the next thing on your schedule. Remind yourself how good you are at whatever that is. Think about the times that you’ve succeeded at whatever it is. Really focus as you continue the long, slow, deep breaths for one full minute. Remind yourself that you’re in control of you.

At the end of your minute, you’ll feel less stressed and more focused.
