Think about your normal day – is there a time of day when you feel tired or like someone drained your energy and brains right out of you?
If you have a mid-morning slump, add things like yogurt, bananas, nuts, berries and oats to your breakfast, or have them as mid-morning snacks. If you’re slump happens after lunch, fatty fish like tuna and salmon for lunch can help you power through that. Mid-afternoon snacks like dark chocolate, cheese and maybe even a black coffee or espresso have the power to move your energy level back up.
You don’t have to eat them all every day – just adding one or two of them to your meals or snacks will give you a natural mood lift.
