Welcome to the human race – we all feel that way sometimes.

The trick is, instead of focusing on the feelings of frustration, sadness or even despair, distract yourself. When you let your brain marinate in unhelpful feelings, that will only produce more unhelpful feelings. Distract yourself. Take a walk outside. Listen to a song that makes your heart sing. Draw or paint or sculpt or journal.

Create a pathway to relief. You’re the only person who can do it, and you CAN do it.
